Hiwot

Hiwot is 18 and was born nearly blind. She is an outstanding student and maintained a 4.0 grade point average in 9th and 10th grades. She wants to study law and improve opportunities for disabled students throughout Ethiopia. She uses and audio recorder in class and uses Braille to take notes. Atsede (another newcomer to YouGoGirls!) acts as her assistant. They sit together in all classes and study together in the evening.
